Taking care of your skin is a by far one of the most important regimens not only for your wedding day but for life.  However, certain SPF in makeup may not always be the best choice come photo time.  Some SPFs contain Titanium Dioxide and Zinc Oxide which can cause "flashback" in your fancy wedding photos.  Flashback is when the flash of a camera picks up the properties in SPF and causes a white light reflection on your face to appear in photos.  Less than flattering images on such a romantic picture kind of day!

Pro tip:   Ask a makeup artist for a respectable brand of foundation that does not contain those specific ingredients or if you are having makeup professionally done, make sure they are familiar with the "flashback" faux pas...chances are they will be equipped with the appropriate cosmetics.
